Led a team of interns designing and building a solar charge station for a lunar rover test prototype. I designed the support structure and deployment mechanism and calculated loads to help prevent tipping.
Designing an electronic continuously variable transmission system for modifications to a heavy-lift drone for the GoAERO design competition.
03 / EXPERIMENTDesigned an airfoil, collected pressure measurements at three angles of attack, and used MATLAB to analyze aerodynamic trends. The report discusses the effect of the model’s thickness and possible flow separation on the results.
Thermocouples and heat flux, beam strain measurements, signal filtering, and temperature control: a foundation in collecting data, testing assumptions, and communicating results.

I'm pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech, with an interest in aerospace, propulsion, and the systems that make ambitious ideas work.
At Virginia Tech's Unmanned Systems Laboratory, I've designed and 3D printed parts for a heavy-lift drone, repaired frame components, and supported engine and wiring work. I enjoy moving between the computer and the workbench.
